Leopold holds a business education from Commercial Academy Bludenz. Currently, he is the Managing Director of Sales and Customer Service Liebherr Maritime Division. Before assuming this role, he was Managing Director Maritime Cranes Liebherr-Werk Nenzing GmbH. Also, he was Economic spokesperson and Member of State Parliament. He completed his military service between 1988/89.
