PEMA launches its official video

The Port Equipment Manufacturers Association (PEMA) has launched its official video that provides a snapshot of the Association’s vital work in the global ports and terminals sector.

Established in 2004, PEMA has grown rapidly – 18 new members have joined the Association in 2019 alone – to include leading equipment manufacturers from all over the world. PEMA represents the interests of equipment and technology suppliers in the ports and terminals sector, and provides a platform to inform, educate and promote best practice.

PEMA’s 110+ member companies actively work to improve safety, security, sustainability and operational efficiency at ports with the aim of supporting world maritime trade. It seeks to build strong relationships within the communities it represents by providing a platform for the exchange of views on global trends in port equipment and technology design, manufacture, operation and maintenance.

PEMA also strives to promote and support the global role of port equipment and technology by raising awareness in media, with customers and other stakeholders, by working closely with other industry associations, and contributing to best practice initiatives.

Founded in 2004, PEMA provides a forum and public voice for the global port equipment and technology sectors. The Association has seen strong growth in recent years, and now has 110 member companies representing all facets of the industry, including crane, equipment and component manufacturers, automation, software and technology providers, consultants and other experts.
