PEMA Joins International Association of Port Cities

July 19, 2018 – The Port Equipment Manufacturers Association joins the International Association of Port Cities (AIVP), solidifying the collaboration between the two industry bodies.

In June, PEMA became an official member of AIVP. The association, which represents a network of over 200 members, supports the role of port cities worldwide through a structured framework of conferences and seminars, providing a platform for the exchange of expertise and knowledge between members.

Of the announcement, PEMA President, Ottonel Popesco, said, ‘PEMA joining AIVP represents another big step in fulfilling our Association’s international remit and underlines our commitment to fostering good relationships with in our industry. As a major voice in the global ports and terminals sector, PEMA is delighted to be a part of this association’.
