PEMA President Achim Dries takes to the TECH TOC Theatre: A Conversation with PEMA
On Wednesday, 18th June, PEMA President Achim Dries participated in a discussion with Paul Avery of World Cargo News, to discuss the evolving role of green technology and sustainable energy solutions in the port and terminal industry. The conversation will explored how automation, electrification, and innovative energy strategies are reshaping operational efficiency, reducing emissions, and driving the industry toward a more sustainable future as well as they challenges they pose:
“Using battery technology on mobile equipment in a terminal will really change the risk assessment because you have a different fire risk than with traditional engines, like diesel”
