PEMA appoints new Head of Administration

The Port Equipment Manufacturers Association (PEMA) has appointed a new Head of Administration, Mr. Petar Karaivanov, who joined the Association on Monday October 15. Petar will continue to develop the growing number of ways the Association acts as a forum for the global ports and terminals sector.

Prior to joining PEMA, Petar worked as a Community Development Specialist at Citigroup, London where he supported the planning and execution of Citi’s “Global Community Day 2018”. His responsibilities included event management, volunteer recruitment, internal communications and fundraising. He was also a member of the charity Committee.

Previously, Petar worked at the European Parliament in Brussels, Belgium where he provided administrative and Committee support for two Bulgarian MEPs. His responsibilities included national and international communication and conference planning, preparation of speeches, explanation of votes and stakeholder engagement.

Fae Brennan, who was the previous Head of Administration for PEMA, left the organisation for personal reasons and we would like to thank Fae for her service to PEMA, wishing her all the success for her future endeavours.
