Xuzhou Construction Machinery Group Co., Ltd. (XCMG) was founded in 1943 and is the fourth largest construction machinery manufacturer in the world with 28,000 employees and 60 companies in eight business areas. Production takes place in factories in 15 countries, including concrete technology and hydraulic components in Germany. It exports to 191 countries. Its wide-ranging product portfolio includes industrial trucks, road construction machinery, excavators/wheel loaders, mining equipment, port handling technology, mobile and crawler cranes with a lifting capacity of up to 4,000 tons, driverless transport systems, and aerial work platforms. Regional research centers adapt the products to the requirements of the respective markets. Since 2021, XCMG has been represented in Germany with a headquarters in Krefeld (50 employees). Sales are primarily conducted through dealers. The group is growing rapidly in all product segments and is currently conquering the most important European markets.
