Baltkran

OAO Baltkran has been fabricating new cranes and other complex and heavy duty equipment for the Russian market since 1949. In 1992, it became a joint-stock company, with Russian oil company LUKOIL and German engineering concern Noell as principal stockholders. Subequent capital investments were directed to personnel training, development of new product ranges and growth in product exports.
Today, OAO Baltkran is a highly developed company involved in the engineering and fabrication of complex handling systems destined for operation in the Arctic, Far North, Siberia and Polar regions at temperatures down to -45oC in operating status and -60oC in the off mode.
The company also supplies container cranes and other specialised lifting equipment to world markets, including Europe, the USA and India, among others.
