PEMA initiatives in 2010 included:

• Publication of 3rd Annual Global Survey on Mobile Port Handling Equipment (reach stackers, FLT s and terminal tractors)
• Progress on joint Quay Crane Safety Recommendations with ICHCA and TT Club
• Hosting Safety Workshop at TOC Asia 2010
• Participation in ICHCA Safe Cargo Handling Seminar
• Liaison with ICHCA International Safety Panel (ISP) and Environmental Sub Group
• Liaison with International Association of Ports and Harbors (IAPH) World Port Climate Initiative (WPCI)
• Formation of Technology Committee
